Christina Rose
Vice President, Aviation Security, Certis Australia

I am an experienced Aviation Security Regulatory and Operations Professional with a demonstrated history of working with both the Australian Government as an Executive Level 1/2 and in the aviation industry as an Airport Manager; an Executive with the Qantas Group of Airlines and now a Senior Executive with the longest serving Aviation Security provider in Australia.

With Australian Government, in relation to National Security, I managed the Air Security Officer Program for the Transport portfolio after September 11, 2001 in addition to ensuring every aircraft with 60 seats or more operating into Australia airspace at the time was retrofitted with a hardened cockpit door. Between 2011 and 2014 I lead an industry working group with airlines, airports and security service providers to build a nationally consistent screener training package.

I hold enduring professional liaison and collaboration relationship with law enforcement nationally and internationally. I have worked across International Relations (APEC; ASEAN; ICAO), General Management, Risk Management, Training and Mentoring, and public/private stakeholder engagement. My professional profile has been acknowledged annually by industry via nominations received for various industry awards over the past seven years. I have also been recognised nationally as an AFPVA volunteer. I have earned a Bachelor of Education, Graduate Diploma in Media and a Master’s degree in Terrorism and Security.
