Dave Cohen is the Deputy CEO of the Risk 2 Solution Group and a nationally recognised leader in cybersecurity, protective security, and organisational resilience. With over two decades of experience spanning private, public, and not-for-profit sectors, Dave brings a wealth of strategic insight and practical expertise to his work in integrated risk.

As an accredited Security Risk Management Certified Professional (SRMCP), Dave has advised organisations across Australia on how to navigate complex and evolving threat landscapes—bridging the gap between technical systems and human factors. His leadership in cyber risk assessment, business continuity, and resilience strategy has positioned him as a key contributor to the advancement of holistic security solutions.

Dave also serves as the Deputy Chair of the Institute of Strategic Risk Management (ISRM) Australia & New Zealand and is the founding Global Chair of the ISRM Cyber Security Special Interest Group (SIG). In these roles, he continues to shape discourse and develop thought leadership that connects industry practitioners and decision-makers across the globe.

A passionate advocate for education and mentorship, Dave has actively supported initiatives such as the Tech Girls Movement and frequently speaks at conferences and forums on future-focused security and resilience leadership.
